And they’re off!

The team is off! Presently they are somewhere over the ocean on their way to Amsterdam before embarking to Johannesburg and onward to Eswatini. This morning we gathered at the Winnipeg airport, with our annual exercise of stuffing duffle bags as full as we can with care packages and gifts made by all our sponsor families. Thanks to all who put so much effort into sending a special package to their sponsor child. So proud of this team as they go to represent Riverwood and to connect with all the kids at Enaleni and Bhobokazi, two beautiful communities in Eswatini. We can’t wait to see them in action. For now….safe travels to you and we are with you all the way!

To follow along daily, they will be posting directly to the Riverwood page on Facebook. Link is here:

This morning we awoke with a renewed sense of energy and ready to experience church together. Yesterday we discovered an exciting opportunity to participate in two church services today. Pastor Peter and Precious have been in the process of starting a church that meets near the Bhobokazi careppoint on Sunday mornings before heading over to Enaleni for their service. They are going multi-site 🙂
