I have had a reawakening in my walk with Christ.  Mexico and Sirva were just the beginning of this crazy and exhilarating walk.  I live to see those bright young faces again and do something truly meaningful with my life.

Since going to Africa 2 years ago and seeing what and how God used me to show some amazing love to the people, I knew that I would be going back again.  You really do leave your heart behind.  I have an amazing sister Corinne, my cool Dad and my wonderful mother Marj, cheering me on.  They are all super excited for me.  My family are my hero’s.

God has given me a burden for the African people early on in my walk.  I am looking forward to what He has inshore for me.  Sharing this time with my son who was instrumental in starting my journey with Christ seems most appropriate.

Swaziland is a country & people close to my heart!  This year I get to take this journey with my youngest daughter Carley.  It is a privilege to not only lead the team in caring for & teaching the children about God but also seeing the impact that such a trip has on the lives of our team members.

Jon Courtney (Team Leader)

I am honoured and privileged to lead another team to continue building the relationship and development with the communities in Swaziland.  I am so proud to be a part of a church that responds so generously and readily to the call to defend the orphan and widows of our world.  I am humbled to see what God has done as we have taken the risk to join a community in Canada with two communities in Swaziland.  One of my favourite joys is seeing God grab a hold of us to change the way we see ourselves and our world through this experience.
