  1. I wan’t to encourage you with something profound or deep. Then last night as I was praying for you all it came to me that God has already done that. Thank you Swazi-lovers for stretching yourselves and we are all looking forward to hearing about God’s amazing love and power over there. Blessings to all.

  2. Hi Amy!
It’s one of the peas! Iam so sorry for not writing all last week. We missed you at Urban Camping but I hope you had a great weekend! So how are you? You guys took lots of great pictures, the kids look so cute! I was wondering, have you meet a 7 year old boy named Mancoba? He is our Sponsor Child and I was wondering if you could get a picture of him with you. I hope your having a blast and feel a special closeness to God there. You and everyone else there will be in my prayers.
Love you and can’t wait for you to come home,

  3. Hello to everyone! The pictures you have taken are amazing and your blog has brought so many more great pictures into my imagination! My 10 yr old wants to help in an African orphanage when she is older and you all just inspire her to that even more. We will continue to pray for your time there and for a safe journey home. As my 4 girls and I kiss each other goodnight we will send much love to you and all children there as well.
    God bless,

  4. The smiles in these pictures – that’s what’s captivated me. Such big beautiful smiles! The kids look so much happier – they look cared for and loved. I’m sure they will miss you all. You have definitely done Riverwood proud. The church walls are taller than some of the kids – can you image the life change that these kids are experiencing as it unfolds before their very eyes. I just don’t think I have the capacity to fully comprehend what that must be like. Thank you for being the hands and feet, eyes and ears for all us Riverwooders at home.

Praying for traveling mercies as you begin to make your way home. Be nice to the flight attendants – I bet sleep will come easier on the way home.

See you all soon. Can hardly wait to hear your stories in person.

    Take Care and God Bless.

  6. Hello to all the team. Enjoy every day! A prayer for you:
Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

  7. Hey Gang… well nice to see the pictures and stuff and glad to hear everything arrived fine and on time.

Dave can’t wait to sit down and chat with you about Africa.. did i mention you are just Beaming happy!!!!!!

I miss you all… have a great last day with the kids… you can’t leave until you hug and kiss every one…. remember those kisses and hugs you leave them with have to last all year… so make em big huge long and extra smoochey..

  8. Ashley wants to tell a joke, I am typing for her so you won’t have to suffer through her grammar and spelling woes.

“Squirrel goes to her tree and realizes she forgot to store nuts for winter. Then the squirrel dies. It’s funny cause the squirrel dies”.

Joke is told by a talking dog in the movie “Up”. Ash has been telling that joke daily and I may have to pray for her to stop.

Ash also says she misses Mom (Lesley) and Slurpees are on you when you get back.

We are counting the days, and can’t wait for you to touch down in the Peg.
Enjoy every minute, say hello to our girl at Enaleni and give her a BIG HUG from her Winnipeg family.
    C u soon

  9. What cool pictures. Thank you so much for posting them and for sharing your comments. I know that you guys are all having such a great time that you don’t want to come home, but some of us back here are counting down the days.
I love you Jason. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Friday.
Be blessed everyone, because all of you are definately a blessing to everyone there and to all of us following the blog.

  10. what a dream. to think that this all is happening is immeasurable, like dreams. but the pictures make it a reality. i am impressed with the teams’ abilities to capture each individual moment(s) and identify the intense feeling(s) behind it. i am impressed with the level of you all becoming a part of the culture of expression. wow – it is unbelievable to be so connected! most of all i am impressed that you all are carrying the banner of Jesus Christ is Lord of your life and the fruits of the spirit are just pouring out of each of you. thank you, thank, thank you for loving all the children and giving us a snap shot of your experiences. how good and faithful you all have been. keep safe, be still and love deep. praying for you all.
