  1. It is so good to see these photo’s guys and gals! Keep up the wonderful work. God be praised for the advance of His Kingdom. I must confess to a slow boiling sense of jealosy for the marvelous experiences that you are having! I also the that the term “blob” has caught on? Ah, my father in law has now left his unique signature on the world of cyberspace. I will be sure to tell him when I see him on Saturday (in a non-mocking way of course – the man was a middle weight boxing champion!).

LeeAnn, have a wonderful night sweetheart I will let you know how my mom’s surgery went as soon as I hear something. Keep up your termendous work hon and know that all of your friends and family back here are cheering and praying for you. Love you and miss you!

  2. Hey Scott
Just wanted you to know I have been checking the sight everyday and I’ve been humbled by the work the team is doing and enjoying the pictures also. How did the baseball bats go over?
    Take Care & God Bless

  3. Hey guys looks like things are going really well for you!
Amy and Doug – We’re just setting up for Urban Camping, kids coming in under 2 hours. Wish you were here, but know that at this moment you are more needed where you are at!
As you come to the half way mark I leave you with this challenge: FINISH STRONG. I know it is hard to be away from family and friends, but don’t let that impede you last days in Swaziland. Soon enough you will be home and wishing that you had more time in Swaziland. Enjoy church on Sunday. Their raw, powerful singing is truly one of those things in life that once you experience, you will never forget (as you have glimpsed during your rain day!) Looking forward to seeing you back in the ‘Peg, but until then FINISH STRONG, KEEP NOTHING BACK. Relax n the plane ride home. 🙂

  4. Hey team, many blessings to all of you. The pictures are amazing! What an absolute joy to be among those children. If any of you see our sponsor child, can you get a picture for us? Her name is Thandolwethu Khumalo. She is about 7 years old and cute as a button! By the way, did the packages we sent ever arrive? I hope so. I would want to share the joy through pictures of seeing their faces when they get their packages. Keep up the great work of the Lord and looking forward to seeing lots of pictures and hearing about your experiences. Love you all. Dodie
PS. Ron, get back to the lighting board, eh!! lol

  6. Hey team,

As I sit and read through the experiences you are sharing, and even the comments of the others on the blog I’m amazed and humbled by the scope of God’s purpose.

Thank you team for your dedication. Please continue to live passionately for Christ today. I too, am mildly jealous that I’m not there with you. But God will work that out in His timing. For today, love on someone who needs it, listen to those around you, and I pray that God would meet you individually today in a way that marks your heart.

Lord, please give each team member a moment while they’re in Swaziland. A special “altar” moment, that they can look back to and find the time when they were most intimate with You. A moment, that when remembered in this bustling, distracting place will take them back to that place of intimacy with you. Please bless each team member, with Your Grace, and Love. Please continue to knit them together as a team, and grow them in unity. I pray in Your Holy name, Amen.

I’d like to give a shout out to some friends over in Swaziland, and send hugs their way {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} to Gino, Ron, Doug and Scott. I’m soooooo proud of you, and what you’re doing. Please continue to cling tightly to Christ, and continue to pour out His Love to all those around you.

Ron, we haven’t heard much from you on the blog, so I’m curious to know your thoughts. So I’d encourage you to share your thoughts either here posting, or journalling or over coffee when you’re back home. I’d love to know what God is doing in your life – even though I get to see a glimpse of it on your face in pictures. 🙂 This is an amazing experience, so processing it in some way will be important for remembering good stories later.

I’ll be humming jazz tunes by myself till you get back.

  9. I echo Mrs. WEbster’s thoughts and prayers re taking a special tiem with the Lord away with you from Africa…… so excited how you guys and the church out there are able to connect…. and I imagine a number of you have had the privilidge and stretching experience of visiting some of the kids homes….. may God encourage you as you see the truth of circumstances behind the victory and smiles God is showing through the kids faces ….. you are His angels, say Hi to the Mages and blessings on them and leadership out there…. if nto for thier faithfull work and bending to God’s will , we would never have been able to know of all these kids, or be impacted by thier courage.

  10. oh also… almost forgot….. COKE RULES!!!!!!!!!!! although I’m sure anything cold would be wonderful out there….. such an AWESOME classic shot…… Carolyn, did you commission it for Todd’s office? 🙂 oh, right (I’d better duck) it’s actually for the space right above the staff sink 🙂
